Does virginia permit annulments? |

Virginia also will allow an annulment in the following circumstances:
(1) the marriage was performed without a license or not solemnized correctly,
(2) marriages where the parties are related in ancestry or as brother or sister or aunt/uncle and nephew/niece,
(3) fraud or duress, and
(4) several other bases including sometimes impotency and prior felony convictions if this was not disclosed at the time of the marriage. |
