Does virginia have no-fault grounds? |

Virginia has no-fault grounds essentially as follows:
(a) If there are no children of the marriage and the parties have a written separation agreement covering all monetary issues, they have to live separate and apart for six months prior to the filing for divorce;
(b) If there are children or the parties do not have a separation agreement, they have to live separate and apart for twelve months. |
