I was married in miami, florida. I want to file for a divorce or annulment. Can if file anywhere in florida or do I have to return to miami?
As long as you've met the residency requirements of the county where you live, you can file right where you live. As a matter of fact, even if you lived in another State, as long as you've met the State and County residency requirements of that other State, you could file there also. Marriage in one particular County and State does not limit your ability to file anywhere else.
